This is the industrial version of this song, featuring sequences and a great deal of tracking. Playing it live was always a gamble. This version was actually re-composed during the short interlude when the original linup of the band split up, and then shortly afterward TJ, Dino, & Steve reformed with drummer Lou Didomenico, and went by the new name "Plan 9", out of respect for the fact that it was at the time, thought to be a totally different band.
Of course, shortly afterward, Jeff rejoined the band, and at that point a vote was taken and the band decided to return to using the original name, and it was after this event that 'DIE" entered it's most definitive period, writing the songs that would define their sound, such as Red, Fiction, Starfighter, Requiem (sorry this is not on this recording!) and definitive covers such as New Dawn Fades and As the Worm Turns, which became consistent set staples until the band finally broke up.
Examining modern gender struggles through murky goth metal, the Philadelphia band's debut is as immediate as it is thought-provoking. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 5, 2022
